Behold He makes ALL things New

I couldn't wait to share with you again...I hope you are doing well today! Romans 6:4 tells us we are to..."walk in newness of life." This is something we all need to take hold of daily. "Put on the new man which was created according to God, in righteousness and true holiness." I know that I want to live a righteous and holy life, but I cannot if I don't walk in the gift given to me, a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is so easy to get caught up in routine; especially when schedules get busy. Even as a Bible College student being in the Word everyday, your focus can change from God himself to just obtaining knowledge of God. When we read the Word we are to not just use our head, but our hearts as well. Imagine someone you admire...You've got that person in your head? You get a package in the mail, excitedly you open it to find a biography about that person. Soon after the doorbell rings again, the one you admire and want to learn about is standing right in front of you. What do you do go back to reading the biography or invite that person in and get to know them personally. Most people will say invite that person in! The Lord wants to give you a deeper revelation of His truth. God's Word is to give you knowledge of who God is, understanding of His will, and to guide you into His will. The Lord does not just limit Himself in the Word, but extends the farthest reaches by His spirit. He has called you out because He wants to use you in new dimensions. It cannot be done through your will, but His alone! Greater things are yet to come! And He wants you to truly know Him intimately. There is only a limited amount you can learn from text, but the Lord wants to reveal to you even more. You are not changed by knowledge, but by love; not something you obtain, but something you have already been given. God wants a soft heart, one He can shape, and renew. It is His joy! Do not settle for less, when you are already offered so much more!

Ezekiel 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
