Inspiration

I am not going to lie, I have always been timid about having a blog site. The reason I decided to create one was first of all I love sharing what is going on in my life, especially a life through Christ, and secondly I love writing! This blog I am hoping will share with and encourage other young adults with what the Lord has and is speaking to me.

I will start out by explaining the name of my blog: The Apple of His eye, comes from one of my favorite Psalms. Psalm 17...A prayer of David, in verses 6-8 " I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. I cannot read this Psalm and not be consumed by the Lords love. To be the apple of someone's eye you have to be in a cherished position, so close that you can see your own reflection in their eyes. God declare you are His! He is already close and wants to embrace and cover you with His feathers. All you have to do is turn and face Him!

I am so excited to see also what the Lord is sharing with you in your life. So please don't be afraid to share as well! There is comfort in knowing that we are walking with the Lord together, bearing with one another in love.
